Father is Wisdom
|
Why do you call the father she? Father is a male term and in the greek it is a masculine term.
And I am amazed- some of the things that you say are right on and then some of the other things that you say are, well, crazy. Like calling the father 'she.'
There is no rapture. Christ is coming ONCE and that is at the end of time. I think it is you that believes we are in tribulation. Where IS God, the father? If there is a rapture, why hasn't Christ shown up?
I don't necessarily believe in a 7 year tribulation, either. Most christians are expecting a 7 year tribulation and the rapture and I don't believe in either one. Christ promises that no one will know when he will come back. There are no proximate dates. If we have a 7 year tribulation and Christ coming to get his children, then we will all know, for a certainty when Christ will come back. And that just isn't the case. Not even Christ knows when the father wants him to return.
Revelations is a book of symbols. I believe that the tribulation is symbolic of all of the christians that have faced tribulation through out time. Do I believe that the end of time is near? Yes. When it comes to the scope of all of eternity, the end has ALWAYS been near. 7000 years is nothing to God. That is 7 days to him.
Besides, humans only live to be 100 or so. Life is short and when we are absent from this body, we are present with the Lord. So, for EVERY human, the end is ALWAYS near.
And as far as all the natural disasters are going on- yes, God is the author of all of these events and is a sign that Christ's return is near. But, Christ has to come back to live people, so the earth will not be completely destroyed. I believe that only one quarter of the world will be left over, after the earth is bombarded with one natural disaster after another.
I could be dead tomorrow. And my tribulation has been every day, from the day that I was born. That's 36 years of tribulation. How many years of tribulation have you had? And if you die tomorrow- your end is HERE.

I allow myself to comment your diary intro:
"My name is Regina and I am a minister with the Light of Life Ministry. I am in service to Yahweh and Christ in bringing the light of truth to mankind."

Servant of Yahweh, Follower of Christ
|
With all my respect, but being a servant of yahweh , as u like to call urself ain't the same as a follower of Jesus Christ... Yahweh, my dear, is not even a religion. And in case it was one in deed, it's certainly not christianity. You people can preach and look like you're saints and like if you believed in God, but the truth is, and you know it that you don't believe in God or in anything related to him... It's not my business and this is your life, but stop preaching urself as a saint and pretending to be A Christ follower is the most funniest joke i've ever read... Yahweh is nothing related to christianity... If they brainstormed you, hope you'll wake up one day. So long [TulipeNoire]

Angel of Light - Angel of Darkness
|
This is one of those entries that I agree with 100%. It's the biggest reason why I quit going to church altogether. The love of money and power can turn the most honest man into an over night crook.
I have seen some of the most godly people, hypocrite themselves by preaching against wealth and then accumulating it for themselves. I think that that is more disgusting then the preachers who preach prosperity. At least it's clear what they are after.
There are so many scattering the sheep; so many people in need and sending their money to these crooks in hopes of a miracle. I don't see the majority of them sharing their wealth; that's the only way their promises of wealth would come to pass.
Selfish and ungodly. I refuse to give my money to people like that. Refuse. [SteeleBlack]

Angel of Light - Angel of Darkness

my dad is a pastor. we have a relatively small church, but everyone knows everyone so (this may sound corny) we act like a family. we always throw parties for all the kids' birthdays and my mom always invites the ladies to our house to "fellowship." ~destiny [destinylopez430]

Heaven & Hell
|
I believe in the literal description of Heaven as is written in the Bible. I also believe that the souls of forgiven people, people who have accepted Christ as their Savior, go to Heaven at the time of their passing. There is only one Heaven and one Earth, and both will pass away at the end of the thousand years, to be replaced by a new Heaven and Earth. I also agree with what Michael Faraday said: I know that my Redeemer lives, and because He lives, I shall live also. I believe that we can only be forgiven of our sin, and be saved, by trusting and believing in, and declaring Him to be our Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord, who paid for our sins with His blood. I have accepted Christ as my Savior and, through faith, I believe that I am forgiven and saved in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Chad [GhostWalker]

The Truth About the Rapture
|
The Rapture will occur and it will occur before the Tribulations. The Tribulations will not begin immediately following the Rapture but after an 18 month period of peace culminating in the signing of a treaty between AntiChrist and Israel. Then the tribulation begins, lasting for 3 and a half years, ushering in the Great Tribulation for a total of seven years in which three sets of seven judgements each will occur as was prophesied in the Bible.[GhostWalker]

The Truth About the Rapture
|
so many people DO NOT get that the rapture is going to occur at sometime or another, whether we are ready or not. i don't belive there is a way to predict it,and just because some phony predicts and it doesn't come doesn't mean that it was about to come. It's all in God's hands, and it'll happen when he makes that decision.
good entry btw(:

The Truth About UFO's, Aliens & Crop Circles
|
I don't mean to sound mean, but I think that you are delusional. There are no such things as demons. In the bible, the greek word for demon is daimonian which means to distribute fortunes. True demons are people using God as a means to make a fortune.
And, one of the greatest lies ever told by Satan is the myth that we all have free will. There is no such thing. The only one with free will is God. The rest of us are subjects to his whims and plan.

Is Once Saved Always Saved?

One of my favorites has always been from Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin willfully after that we have recieved the knowlege of the truth, there remains no sacrifice for sins."

How Things Will Soon Change

Are you saying that you don't have to accept Jesus as your saviour here on this earth? That you can just wait until after you're dead and then get saved? Or am I reading that wrong?[calledtoworship]
